Hi everyone, I’m Shay and I’m a chocoholic. (I tried Chocaholic ‘cos it sounded better but ‘grammar’ didn’t allow it so here we are :)). As today’s National Chocolate Day, I naturally assumed I’d be getting a lot of choco love. No such luck 😦 I didn’t have a valentine today too … (Shout out to all the single ladies X_X). Anyway back to my chocolamentations 🙂
I’ve been chocolate deprived for too long. I think that’s part of why I have been thinking too much and woke up with a nasty headache this morning. Symptoms of withdrawal I guess. Yes, I have tried – I haven’t had any chocolate this February except chocolate cake and my last one was a few days ago so it’s a big step plus a certain someone who I shall not mention has been tormenting me unknowingly with images of choco things – truffles, cakes and everything sweet. I saw a quote that goes something like this:
‘If there’s no chocolate in heaven, then I don’t want to go there’.
Well, I’m chocopassionate but I won’t trade nada for heaven – which brings me to another item on our agenda – What are you passionate about? It eventually directs your life and ultimately your destiny. You should know though that your passion is 20% what you feed your mind. Imagine your passion like a burning fire – you feed it kerosene or you feed it trash – that determines how much it’ll burn or if it’ll burn at all!
Back to my choco craving confessions.

I think my rambling is another sign of this supposed withdrawal.
If y’all don’t like me this way, just gimme the chocolate already!!!

So as I was typing this, I took a short 3 minute break because I was getting too emotional due to my chococraze going into overdrive and guess what I saw? My number 1 tormentor had an awesome, mouth watering chocolate cake as her dp. Yup the one above! I hadta cry in protest – Virtually of course!!! :p
And here was her reply:
‘My dear it’s a fruitless endeavour. God made chocolate for women. It’s an instinctive need. Just take it and move on. Just the smell of chocolate makes me smile. I don’t even need to eat the cake just smelling it alone makes me smile.’

So as at the time I’m concluding this which is 01.10pm GMT, I’m in chocolate withdrawal mode but within 12 hours I’ll be back to being a chocojunkie!
